Day 01 : Delhi On arrival at Indira Gandhi international airport, you would be met by our representative and given assistance for transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free for independent activities. Overnight in Delhi.
Delhi is just not a city but it is a book-- a book which narrates the history of India. The city was built and destroyed seven times and has been witness to the various events which has brought India through the history books. Seven times this city went through the pain of being built and rebuilt. Today as the capital of India Delhi is the seat of administration and the monuments which tell the saga of a bygone era stand there. These icons are testimony to the grandeur of past and also an attraction for the tourists. With an area of 1483 sq. Kms, Delhi is all set to acquire full statehood. The charm of Delhi has attracted Emperors, Conquerors and poor in equally. It is correctly said that Delhi is a land of 'Dilwalas' or for people with heart. This phrase acquires a true colour when one goes around the lanes of Delhi. Day 02: Delhi After brekfast our travel guide takes full day sightseeing of Old and New Delhi including ancient and English reign monuments like Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid, Humayun's Tomb, Connaught Place, Parliament House, President House. Day 02 : Delhi - Udaipur After breakfast free for leisure. On time transfer to Airport to board flight for Udaipur. You are received at Airport and transferred to the Hotel. We start with the most romantic sight seeing in a boat on Lake Pichhola with the most beautiful palaces all around and the most handsome sunset behind. Your Dream Boat in the Sunset. Day 03 : Udaipur The Lake City as it is popularly known. For the whole day we explore this picturesque town, its amazing palaces, gardens and fountains.
Udaipur : The city of Lakes, Located in the Aravalli ranges of Rajasthan, the city of Udaipur is situated at a distance of about 405 km from the state capital Jaipur. The City of Dawn, surrounded by the ancient Aravali Mountains and set on the edge of three lakes, is a brilliant kaleidoscope of narrow lanes flanked by bright stalls, gardens, lakes, palaces and temples. The city is famous for its palaces, lake, museums, temples, and gardens and much more. Day 04 : Udaipur - Chittorgarh The epitome of Rajput Chivalry. Transferred to Chittorgarh and checking in hotel in After, we drive upto what is known as the most fiercely fought fort of India- the Chittorgarh Fort which had witnessed the bloodiest of battles, chivalry, Jouhars ( mass self-immolations ) and sacrifices. Each stone of this fort has its own story to narrate. Overnight stay at Chittorgarh.
Chittorgarh: The pride and glory of Rajasthan. Chittaur echoes with the tales of romance and valour unique to the Rajput tradition. A ruined citadel, where the royal past lives in its imposing forts, graceful palaces and spectacular 'chhatris'. This fortified settlement has been ravaged thrice and each time the outcome was 'Jauhar' - when women and children immolated themselves on a huge funeral pyre while men donned in saffron robes of martyrdom rode out of the fort towards a certain death.
Day 05 : Chittorgarh - Kumbhalgarh A massive fort never conquered. We visit the temples of Nagda & Eklingji before reaching the huge & impregnable fort of Kumbhalgarh. We also enjoy horse safari while exploring Kumbhalgarh wild life sanctuary. Overnight stay at Kumbalgarh.
The hidden wonders in jungles. Driving through scenic landscape of forested Aravallis, we reach the serene, quiet and relaxing Ranakpur. We see here the very outstanding & immense Chaumukha Jain Temple with 1444 carved pillars. Overnight stay at Ranakpur.
Day 07 : Ranakpur - Mount Abu The incomparable Delwara over the mountains. We reach Mount Abu by noon and thereafter we visit theincomparable marble wonder at Delwara Temple. We also visit the Nakki Lake, spiritual learning centres & the sunset point during different hours of the day.
Mount Abu The Verdant Oasis. The only hill station in Rajasthan, Mount Abu huddles among the rocks on a 1,220-m granite table mountain at the far southwestern end of the Aravalli hills. It is built around a lake and is surrounded by forested hills. According to a legend, the place derives its name from Arbuda, a serpent who descended to the spot to rescue Shiva's bull, Nandi. Besides having all the features of a pleasant hill resort, Mount Abu is also well known for the famous Dilwara temples and many more archaeological remains. There are interesting treks and picnic spots, romantic royal retreats of the various erstwhile families of bygone Rajputana and some relics of the Raj period. The scenic landscapes include gigantic blocks of rocks in weird shapes, an array of coniferous trees, flowering shrubs, lovely lakes and the cool climate much in contrast to the arid environs of the state.
Day 08 : Mt Abu - Jaisamand Tribal villages. Night in Island. We return back to Jaisamand near Udaipur - The lake is the largest man made lake in Asia & enes a number of hills with tribal villages and historic sites. Night stay in an island resort.
Day 09 : Udaipur - Delhi Buffet breakfast at hotel. In time transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi. Assistance on arrival and transfer to the International Airport to take flight to home. |
